Major Flood Relief Project Begins on Hill Road |
A
$58.5M project to address flooding on Hill Road and surrounding areas
is now underway, funded by the Australian and NSW Governments. Hill
Road, the key access route to Wentworth Point, is often closed due to
flooding. With Haskoning Australia appointed to lead the 12-month
planning phase, this marks a significant step towards minimising
disruptions to the community. |

Duck River Trail Upgrade Underway |
Stage
1 of the Duck River Nature Trail is underway at Silverwater Park, with
new paths, lighting, and amenities like bike racks and accessible
