Join us to celebrate the grand opening of Yarra Community Centre with a day of fun, creativity and connection! Free, interactive workshops and family-friendly activities from 11am - 4pm and stage performances from 12pm - 4pm.

 

The Yarra Community Centre will be a place for everyone in the community to learn, collaborate, and belong. With quiet study spaces, flexible rooms for hire, smart technology and modern facilities, every corner is shaped by the community, for the community.

Upgraded Playgrounds Now Open in Parramatta and Epping

Families in Parramatta and Epping can now enjoy refreshed and more inclusive play spaces, with upgrades completed at WR Musto Playground and Mobbs Lane Reserve.

The improvements include new play equipment, enhanced safety features, accessible design elements and a revitalised landscape—creating welcoming places for children of all ages and abilities to explore and play.

North Rocks Road Open to Two-Way Traffic

With the Hunts Creek Bridge project now in Stage 2, residents and commuters can expect North Rocks Road to remain open to two-way traffic until May. Bringing Council Services Closer to You

Our Mobile Customer Service Pop-Up Program is coming to a location near you to offer face-to-face support, no booking needed. Come and say hi to our friendly team and get help with waste and recycling, rates, permits or general enquiries. Check out the schedule for upcoming dates and locations.

Last Chance to Request a Street Tree for 2026

We’re finalising our 2026 street tree planting program and are taking final requests from residents.

If you would like a Council funded tree planted on the nature strip outside your home, please submit your request by 11:59pm, Saturday 28 February.

Dan Mahoney Reserve's fundraising success

Dan Mahoney Reserve's annual Santa Paws event brought the community together for a fun day with dogs and their companions. Around 200 people and wagging tails attended, helping raise more than $1,900 for Jade’s Dog Rescue NSW.
