Exciting Upgrades Underway at Kilpack Park

Construction is progressing on the upgrade of Kilpack Park in Carlingford, with works set to finish by the end of the year. The project includes a new playground, outdoor fitness equipment, widened cycle-friendly footpaths, pedestrian lighting, and landscaping.

Riverside Theatres Redevelopment Moves Forward

Council has approved a Pre-Construction Services Agreement for the Riverside Theatres redevelopment, paving the way for design optimisation before construction begins. Riverside Theatres will remain open throughout the process, and from January 2026, Riverside Live at PHIVE will bring even more magic to Parramatta!

Vision for Epping Aquatic and Recreational Facilities Revealed

Council has completed the Epping Community Infrastructure Analysis and is progressing plans for a modern aquatic centre, new indoor recreation facilities, and a vibrant hub with an expanded library. We’re also exploring ways to reopen the existing pool and keep Dence Park as a public open space.

Upgrades to Max Ruddock Reserve are underway

Work is underway at Max Ruddock Reserve in Winston Hills, including accessible bathrooms, upgraded change rooms and facilities to support local cricket and soccer teams. This project is expected to be completed by mid-2027.

Two-way traffic on North Rocks Road to be restored

From Friday 19 December, North Rocks Road will return to two-way traffic. Detours for northbound traffic will be removed, and access to The Mills shopping centre will be restored for both directions.

FOGO Truck Showcases Local Young Artist’s Design

We’re thrilled to announce the winner of the 2025 FOGO Truck Art Competition! Congratulations to 10-year-old Angus from Epping West Public School, whose vibrant design now brightens a FOGO collection truck travelling across Parramatta. A big thank you to all participants for helping inspire a cleaner, greener city for everyone.

Clear the festive clutter at Council’s free recycling event at the Rydalmere Operations Centre – 316 Victoria Rd, Rydalmere. City of Parramatta residents can bring flattened cardboard, computers, TVs, printers, mobile phones, and small household appliances.
