More to enjoy at Robin Thomas and James Ruse Reserve

At Robin Thomas Reserve, a new clubhouse features a canteen, meeting space and accessible facilities, along with new picnic tables, a barbecue area, landscaping and a car park. At James Ruse Reserve, a new accessible amenities building with public toilets and change rooms including baby change table is now open.

Explore the newly restored Robin Hood Park

A restored walking track at Robin Hood Park, Northmead, makes it safer and easier to explore Toongabbie Creek bushland. Following storm damage, a 70-metre section has been stabilised, protecting the embankment and supporting native plant growth.

Transform your property with a Vibrant Parramatta Grant

Local artists, businesses and property owners are invited to help transform Parramatta’s spaces and buildings through the Vibrant Parramatta grants program. The first 2026 Street Tree Planting Program is complete, with around 800 new trees planted, many in response to residents’ requests. We look after these trees as they grow, but if you spot a tree on Council land that needs attention, let us know.
