Mayor’s message
As
a council, we are passionate about supporting and promoting arts and
culture. We are fortunate to be the home of not one but two national art
competitions which provide opportunities for established and emerging
artists to showcase exceptional, unique art for the community to enjoy.
The
annual Remagine Art Prize challenges artists to create works in
response to the crisis we are facing with waste and over-consumption. I
encourage you all to visit this inspiring exhibition this month.
The Hornsby Art Prize promotes and celebrates outstanding original works of art. Entries are now open.
